Report: Former Michigan assistant joins Ohio State staff

Former Michigan assistant Bill Sheridan, whose son, Nick, played quarterback for the Wolverines, has joined Urban Meyer’s staff at Ohio State, The Lantern reported Thursday.
The Lantern, Ohio State’s student newspaper, citing a source said Sheridan, who also coached for the Giants and Dolphins, is Meyer’s ninth staff hire.
Sheridan coached under Michigan coach Lloyd Carr at Michigan from 2002-2004. Nick Sheridan, who was a quarterback at U-M from 2008-2009, is now quarterbacks coach at Western Kentucky.
