Michigan-Minnesota headed to OT

Michigan overcame a nine-point deficit in the final 4:38 to force overtime in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament.

Evan Smotrycz, who had not scored all night and had four fouls and three rebounds, hit a 3-pointer from the wing to tie the game at 56 with 17. 6 seconds to play. Minnesota had two shots to win, but could hit neither.

Zack Novak had two 3-pointers in the run after he had been held scoreless for almost 37 minutes.
