As it did yesterday against Northwestern, Michigan started the game with a lackluster performance. Against Ohio State, it’s tough to get away with that.
The Buckeyes jumped out to a 16-3 lead in the first eight minutes and hold a 13-point lead at halftime. Jared Sullinger has 16 points and six rebounds and is dominating inside the paint. Michigan is shooting just 28 percent (7-of-25) from the field, including just 1-of-12 on 3-pointers. Trey Burke, who had 30 points in yesterday’s win, has one point, three rebounds and two assists — and is being hounded by Ohio State’s Aaron Craft.
