Nashville – It wasn’t the start that Michigan was looking for – and turned out not to be the ending it desired either.
Fourth-seeded Michigan fell behind early and couldn’t dig out of its first-half hole and was upset by No. 13 seed Ohio, 65-60, on Friday night at Bridgestone Arena in its opening game of the NCAA Tournament.
The Wolverines lost their NCAA opener for the first time in coach John Beilein’s three appearances at the helm.
