On his 20th birthday, Tim Hardaway Jr. is trying to keep Michigan from an early exit against Ohio. He has 14 points on 5-of-11 shooting, including a pair of 3-pointers. No other Michigan player has more than six points and the offense looks stagnated.
Hardaway has four points in the second half and had cut Ohio’s lead to 39-35 on a jumper but D.J. Cooper responded with a 3-pointer, pushing the lead back to seven. Cooper has 18 points and has been difficult for any of Michigan’s defenders to guard one-on-one.
