The Bobcats are defying their seed, sticking with — and leading — Michigan through the first 12 minutes of the game. The keys have been mercurial point guard D.J. Cooper, who has 10 points, and forward Ivo Baltic who has hit three jumpers, giving Ohio and inside-outside threat.
Ohio is 9-of-14 (64 percent) from the field and has gotten several easy shots inside. Michigan will need to clamp down on defense and make the Bobcats hit from outside before the game gets out of reach.
