Spartans, Louisville off to slow offensive start

Both Michigan State and Louisville look a little jumpy early of tonight’s Sweet Sixteen game in Phoenix, Ariz. The Spartans lead 5-3 through the first five minutes.

MSU senior Draymond Green missed his first three shots, two completely missing the rim, but hit a mid-range jumper to put MSU up 5-3. Austin Thornton opened the scoring with a 3-pointer for the Spartans.

Louisville is shooting 1-for-5 early, perhaps due to its jerseys being able to be seen tonight from the International Space Station.
