Braylon Edwards' charity basketball event is Friday

Several current and former Michigan football and basketball players will be among the participants in Braylon Edwards’ annual celebrity basketball game on Friday at Ann Arbor Pioneer High.
The event, hosted by Edwards, a former Michigan receiver, starts at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7. Proceeds will go to the U-M Alfred Taubman Medical Research Institute for ALS research.
Among the celebrities are current Wolverines: Denard Robinson and Roy Roundtree, and former defensive lineman Mike Martin, who is preparing for the NFL Draft later this month.
Jimmy King, a member of the Fab Five, also is scheduled to play.
