Have you seen the EA Sports NCAA Football 13 commercial where the Ohio State football fan dad catches his son playing the video game with Michigan Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard as a Buckeye?
The game now allows you to put a Heisman legend on any team, which makes for nice comedic value in this case.
I asked Howard about it during a break in the recent Big Ten meetings in Chicago. Yes, he has seen the ad, and yes, he thinks it’s funny.
“A lot of people I know thought it was hilarious,” Howard said. “I said, ‘All, right, that’s cool.” I mean, it’s not actually me.”
