MSU trails entering fourth quarter

Michigan State headed into the fourth quarter on Friday as frustrated as it was at halftime.

Another turnover, this one a fumble by Tony Lippett stalled one drive and Dan Conroy missed a 43-yard field goal to keep the Spartans behind by three.

On the final play of the third quarter, Lippett was dropped for a 10-yard loss on a double-reverse pass that was snuffed by the Boise defense.
