Michigan readies for home opener against Air Force

Michigan is nearing kickoff to its home opener with Air Force.
There are no surprises as far as the Wolverines’ roster, but Michigan coach Brady Hoke made clear during an interview Friday with MGoBlue.com that tailback Fitz Toussaint will start.
Toussaint was held out of the season opener last Saturday against Alabama in Cowboys Stadium as part of a one-game suspension for legal issues.
Defensive lineman Frank Clark, who also missed last week’s game while serving a one-game suspension for his legal problems, will play today against Air Force.
Still unclear is which Michigan player will be awarded the No. 47 jersey that was retired for Bennie Oosterbaan. Michigan started the Legends Patch jersey last year with former receiver and Heisman Trophy winner Desmond Howard’s No. 21 being the first honored in that manner.
