Shoe-less scores again for U-M

Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson’s nickname is “Shoelace”, but it went shoe-less to open the second half with a touchdown for the Wolverines.

Michigan now leads 21-10 0ver Air Force after Robinson, minus his right shoe lost while running, scored on a 58-yard touchdown run the opening drive of the second half.

Robinson gave Michigan a 7-0 lead in the first quarter on a 79-yard run.

The Wolverines’ scoring drive to open the second half was set up by a 36-yard kickoff return by freshman Dennis Norfleet.
