Sims scores as MSU pulls away

Michigan State closed the first half with a solid nine-play drive that went 73 yards in 1:32.

After stopping CMU on fourth-and-10 from the Michigan State 27, the Spartans put together an impressive two-minute offense.

Maxwell was sharp again and capped off the drive with a 20-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dion Sims. Sims also started the drive with a fine catch on an 18-yard gain and has three grabs for 48 yards.
