Notre Dame extends lead over MSU

Michigan State’s offense continued to get nothing going and Notre Dame took advantage of outstanding field position once again.

After George Atkinson III scampered 32 yards on first down, quarterback Everett Golson did the rest of the work. The first-year player had a 14-yard completion and then ran in from 6 yards out to put the Fighting Irish up 14 points with 10:50 to play in the first half.
