Conroy field goal puts MSU on the board

Michigan State is finally on the board thanks to a 35-yard field goal from Dan Conroy.

The Spartans were moving the ball well, but a big incomplete pass led to the field goal.

Bennie Fowler couldn’t come up with a pass in the end zone that would have given the Spartans six points. The coverage was good, but Fowler has to make those plays. It’s been a consistent theme with this team, however. They simply aren’t making big plays in the passing game.
