Michigan State pulls ahead of Eastern Michigan

Michigan State’s defense continues to shut down Eastern Michigan and the offense has taken advantage – somewhat.

The Spartans still haven’t reached the end zone, but a 35-yard field goal by Dan Conroy gave them the lead, 9-7, with 1:11 left in the third quarter.

Michigan State has not scored a touchdown since the fourth quarter of the game against Central Michigan. The Spartans scored just three points last week against Notre Dame.
