MSU starting slowly against EMU

A slow start on both sides of the ball here as Michigan State was forced to punt after picking up one first down on its opening drive.

After stopping Eastern Michigan on fourth-and-1 from its 37, Michigan State moved down the field before stalling at the Eastern Michigan 22.

However, Dan Conroy pushed a 39-yard field goal wide right. Conroy has now missed a field goal in all four games this season.
