Michigan State bounced back behind the play of running back Le’Veon Bell.
He didn’t run so much but caught three passes for 31 yards on the Spartans’ drive. However, they stalled at the Ohio State 17 and were forced to settle for a 34-yard field goal from Dan Conroy.
This has been a problem early in the season for Michigan State, getting into opposing territory and being forced to settle for field goals. It could be a big factor today.
