Mumphery scores to put MSU in front

Michigan State didn’t take long to get back on the board and take its first lead of the game.

In just three plays, the Spartans went 65 yards to take a 13-10 lead with 4:49 to play in the third quarter.

Andrew Maxwell hit Keith Mumphery with a 29-yard touchdown pass that saw Mumphery break at least four tackles and drag several defenders into the end zone.

It was the first touchdown of the sophomore’s career.
