Michigan added a field goal after a huge run by quarterback Denard Robinson.
Robinson ran 46 yards to the Purdue 15-yard line, but the Wolverines could not advance closer than the 12-yard line and settled for a field goal by Brendan Gibbons for the 31-10 lead with 6:37 left in the third quarter.
