Purdue has added a field goal in the fourth quarter, but it could have been worse for Michigan.
The Boilermakers reached the Michigan 11-yard line after a penalty of U-M’s Quinton Washington, but quarterback Caleb TerBush immediately took a six-yard loss on the next play. Purdue was pushed back to the 19-yard line and settled for the field goal.
Michigan leads 31-13 with just more than 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Through three quarters, Michigan has 296 yards, including 191 rushing. Quarterback Denard Robinson has 153 yards rushing on 20 carries. He has thrown for 105 yards and a touchdown.
Fitz Toussaint has two rushing touchdowns.
