Michigan State leads, Michigan driving heading into 4th

The annual grudge match between Michigan and Michigan State is heading into the fourth quarter with the Spartans holding a one-point lead, but the Wolverines in striking distance.

MSU leads, 7-6, after an efficient 80-yard drive in the third quarter, but Michigan was given a boost when safety Jordan Kovacs intercepted Michigan State quarterback Andrew Maxwell.

The Wolverines are about to open the fourth quarter with the ball at the MSU 23-yard line. Roy Roundtree caught a low pass from Denard Robinson for a 15-yard gain and an important third-down conversion to move the Wolverines to the 25-yard line.
