Michigan takes a 6-0 lead

Points are hard to come by in this Michigan-Michigan State game at Michigan Stadium.

The Wolverines changed things up on a 48-yard field goal into a tricky wind by bringing in Matt Wile, who has a strong leg but handles kickoffs while Brendan Gibbons handles field goals, to make the kick.

Wile gave the Wolverines a 6-0 lead with just more than a minute left in the first half. Gibbons gave Michigan a 3-0 lead on a 24-yarder.

Michigan State’s lone field-goal attempt was missed.

The Wolverines have 168 total yards, and the big surprise has been receiver Drew Dileo. Dileo has 72 yards on three catches.
