Michigan State bounced back from Wisconsin’s scoring drive to get on the board with a 34-yard field goal from Dan Conroy with 9:13 left in the second quarter.
The Spartans put together a solid drive, despite overcoming an illegal substitution penalty and a 5-yard loss on a run by Nick Hill.
However, the problem for Michigan State all season has been the inability to get in the end zone, and this was another example. Three points is fine, but at some point, this team must start to score touchdowns or loss No. 4 in the Big Ten is coming.
