The “Be a Hero at the Big House” event to generate blood donations had already been set for Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Michigan Stadium, but now with the impact of Hurricane Sandy, more blood is needed.
People are encouraged to donate blood on Sunday at Michigan Stadium and sign up as an organ/bone marrow donor. Go to www.WolverinesforLife.org to pre-register for the Michigan Stadium drive.
