Michigan, Northwestern tied at halftime

Expectations were that this would be a close game.
That has been the case so far, as Michigan and Northwestern are tied, 14-14, at halftime at Michigan Stadium.
The Wildcats went with quarterback Trevor Siemian to lead their scoring drive that tied the game. Siemian threw a 19-yard pass to Cameron Dickerson for the touchdown. Siemian was 4-of-5 passing in the drive.
Michigan had taken a 14-7 lead after freshman linebacker Joe Bolden recovered a fumble at the Northwestern 37-yard line. Ten plays later, Michigan scored on a one-yard run by Thomas Rawls.
Northwestern has 188 total yards in the first half, while Michigan has 183.
Devin Gardner is Michigan’s starting quarterback for the second straight week. Gardner is 6-of-13 for 76 yards and he has 48 yards rushing and a touchdown.
Senior starting quarterback Denard Robinson is in uniform but took few snaps during pre-game warmups. Robinson has an issue with the ulnar nerve in his right (throwing) arm.
