Michigan’s offense, utilizing both Devin Gardner and Denard Robinson, are rolling up the yards and has rolled up a 28-10 lead over Iowa at halftime in the final game of the season at Michigan Stadium.
Gardner, starting at quarterback for the third straight game, has thrown two touchdowns and run for one as Michigan leads 28-10.
Gardner is 11-of-14 for 204 yards.
Robinson, whose status for this game was unclear this week since he missed the previous two and a half games with a nerve injury to his right arm, started at tailback. Robinson leads Michigan with 72 yards on seven carries.
Roy Roundtree and Vincent Smith, who scored on an 18-yard pass from Gardner in the final minutes of the first half, each has a touchdown reception.
Michigan has endured some bad news, though. Tailback Fitz Toussaint left the field in the first quarter with an injury to his left leg. Toussaint, his leg immobilized in a long air cast, was taken off the field on a cart. The extent of the injury is unknown.
