MSU gets on the board with a safety

Michigan State made up for a fumble deep in Northwestern territory by sacking Kain Colter in the end zone for a  safety and cutting the Wildcats’ lead to 3-2.

Michigan State was staring at a third down from the Northwestern 1 when quarterback Andrew Maxwell fumbled. But two plays later, Max Bullough and William Gholston nailed Colter for the safety.
