Michigan State opened the second half with a solid, 10-play drive that pushed its lead 1o 16-7 with 11:01 left in the third quarter.
Le’Veon Bell was the workhorse again, but the Spartans stalled — as they have for much of the game — forcing Dan Conroy to connect from 43 yards for his third field goal of the game.
Michigan State is now outgaining Minnesota, 297-53.
