Ohio State regains lead over Michigan

Ohio State has taken a 17-14 lead over Michigan with 1:30 left in the first half at Ohio Stadium.
Corey Brown caught a 14-yard pass from Braxton Miller to cap a 59-yard, six-play drive.
Michigan had taken its first lead of the game when Devin Gardner scored on a two-yard touchdown run with 10:42 left in the second quarter to give the Wolverines a 14-10 lead over Ohio State. The drive was set up by an Ohio State turnover when Corey Brown fumbled the punt return. Michigan’s Marvin Robinson made the recovery.

Buckeyes, despite three penalties in the drive, took a 10-7 lead as the first quarter drew to a close. Ohio State 131 yards in the first quarter to Michigan’s 127.

Drew Basil made a 41-yard field goal to give the Buckeyes the advantage with 37 seconds left in the quarter. Ohio State was penalized twice for false starts and once for holding.

Michigan had tied the game, 7-7, on a 75-yard pass from Devin Gardner to Roy Roundtree.
