Michigan State set to face TCU in Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

Michigan State looks to close out its 2012 season with a victory and avoid its first losing season since 2009 when it faces TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl kicking off from Sun Devil Stadium around 10:15 p.m.

The Spartans will be without senior cornerback Johnny Adams who suffered a turf toe injury. Fifth-year senior Mitchell White should start while redshirt freshman Trae Waynes will also play. Junior safety Isaiah Lewis has also been nursing a right foot injury but is expected to start.

This should be a showdown between two outstanding defenses as the Spartans rank fourth in the nation while the Horned Frogs are No. 18.

Michigan State is looking to win back-to-back bowl games for the first time under coach Mark Dantonio and could possibly be seeing running back Le’Veon Bell, tight end Dion Sims and defensive end William Gholston playing in their final games along with eight seniors.
