TCU kept moving the ball as the second quarter opened and capped a seven-play drive with a 47-yard field goal from Jaden Oberkrom to take a 10-0 lead with 13:25 to play in the first half.
Michigan State did manage to get its only first down of the game but punted three plays later.
TCU’s drive was helped by a 59-yard pass from Trevone Boykin to Kolby Listenbee.
