Michigan State pulls ahead of Minnesota in second half

The pace has slowed a bit, but the game is still tight.

Michigan State went on an 11-0 run and took its first lead of the game in the process and holds a 55-52 advantage with 11:56 to play.

Keith Appling has picked it up on the offensive end, scoring six points in the run.

However, the fouls are piling up for the Spartans as Derrick Nix and Adreian Payne each have three fouls apiece.
