Michigan looked flat offensively its first possession of the Outback Bowl but has come up with some points during the Wolverines’ second drive.
Brendan Gibbons has made a 39-yard field goal for the Wolverines, but South Carolina continues to lead, 7-3, in the first quarter of the Outback Bowl at Raymond James Stadium.
Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner is 4-of-8 passing but ended the Wolverines’ first drive with an interception. Denard Robinson has been in the game only briefly but made his first appearance count with a 15-yard gain. Gardner followed that with a 26-yard pass to Jeremy Gallon in double-coverage, but the play was negated by a Taylor Lewan facemask.
