Big turnaround boosts Buckeyes' lead

Trailing, 39-31, Michigan looked to be on its way back. Trey Burke got a transition opportunity but was blocked by Shannon Scott and Ohio State got the ball going the other way, which led to a 3-pointer by Deshaun Thomas and an 11-point advantage.
The Wolverines haven’t been able to convert on clutch possessions that could cut the lead down. That basket would have made it a six-point game; instead, it’s back to double digits. The Buckeyes’ defense has been stifling, but Michigan has scratched back. Shot selection, though, has kept them from getting any closer.
