After facing its biggest deficit, 29-8, Michigan got to the free-throw line for the first time — two by Spike Albrecht and one by Tim Hardaway Jr. — to help whittle the lead. Jordan Morgan’s dunk got the lead down to 29-13 but it’s still an uphill climb if the Wolverines are going to come back and win this one.
