Michigan's Brady Hoke, Lloyd Carr at Breslin

The Wolverines have a few special guests travel to Breslin Center for the showdown matchup against Michigan State. Football coach Brady Hoke and his wife, along with defensive coordinator Greg Mattison and his wife, are sitting behind the Michigan bench. Lloyd Carr, who coached the Wolverines to a share of the 1997 national championship, also made the trip to East Lansing to watch U-M.
Hoke was booed heartily by the Spartans faithful in the Izzone student section when he arrived courtside. He shared a handshake a few brief words with Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio, who also was on hand.
Zack Novak, a former three-year U-M captain who is playing professionally in Europe, is back in Michigan for the week and also sat behind the Wolverines’ bench.
