The Tigers are getting into the holiday spirit with a one-day blowout sale at The D Shop at Comerica Park, set for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Select merchandise will be marked at up to 60 percent off.
Saturday also will be the first day fans can grab the new commemorate Justin Verlander t-shirt, which pays tribute to his remarkable season — which ended with the Tigers ace winning both the Cy Young and Most Valuable Player awards.
The Tigers also still have some postseason merchandise left; that’ll probably be marked down nicely.
The D Shop is at the ballpark, located on the corner of Witherell Street and Montcalm Avenue.
Tigers fans also can enter the Holiday Wish Sweepstakes at tigers.com. After Dec. 19, the Tigers will draw random winners for some great prizes, including a batting practice viewing experience, a six-game season ticket package, and Kids Club gift certificates.
