Exciting things are on the horizon for Detroit, but it’s always hard to see these photos of what the city used to be, and what demands it used to have for a newspaper like the News.

DVoice will continue from the News’ new home on Fort St., in the old Federal Reserve building. You can read more about the plans for the interior of this historic building here on Curbed Detroit.
