Grand Circus Park Restaurants, Taqo and R.U.B. BBQ Pub, Offer Parade-Route View and Kids Eat Free
I am trying to decide on my plans for Thanksgiving morning, and am considering enjoying the Parade on Woodward with a warm view. Staples in Detroit’s entertainment district, restaurants R.U.B BBQ Pub and Taqo are providing the ultimate family-friendly experience for the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Nov. 27 from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., with kids eating free (under 5). Guests will experience breakfast stations, clown face-painting, a live DJ and more. Although I don’t have any children, the sounds good enough for me to make a trip down.
The brunch will feature omelets, waffles, pancakes, salad and carving stations and fruit platters, coffee and hot chocolate, as well as themed libations. The adult price is $24.99 and kids over 5 is $14.99. Taqo and R.U.B. BBQ Pub are located in Grand Circus Park, 10 steps away from the Parade route at: 18 W. Adams Ave., Detroit, 48226, and can be reached at (313) 964-0782.
“We really see this as a unique opportunity to participate in the festivities,” says Dominic Yono, owner, Taqo and R.U.B. BBQ Pub. “With so many families coming downtown, we wanted to provide the ultimate, cost-effective experience for those looking to add a great family tradition.”
