After 5 Intern Program kicks off summer of events

On Thursday June 11, with over 500 interns packing GM’s Wintergarden, After 5 Detroit kicked off its first of six events being held this summer to showcase the Best Detroit has to offer. At the event, interns from numerous different companies eat ice cream, mixed with other interns, and had the opportunity to speak with executives from Ford and the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.

After 5 Detroit seeks to help the city retain top young talent by showing sponsor company’s interns all of the places Detroit has to eat, play, and live. This summer, 40 companies from all over Metro Detroit have sponsored around 3,000 interns to be part of the program.

If your company would like to sponsor an intern, you can still sign up your interns.
