Developer rehabs historic Woodbridge homes

Thought we’d share this piece by Detroit News columnist Marney Rich Keenan on Alex Pereira, a real estate developer who refurbishes homes “after children’s stories that Pereira said reflects the enthusiasm and positive vibe from the city’s comeback.” Pereira’s work is brightening Detroit’s blighted streets one home at a time.
