DC Super Heroes join Lego Batman 2 game this summer

Wow, two days in a row going with announcement posts I don’t usually do.

But it’s “Lego Batman 2″ (now with more super heroes)!

Superman and other heroes will join Batman and Robin in "Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes" (DC)

They’ve been talking about it for a while, but today it became official. “Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes” will be out this summer for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita. Wow — quite a collection of platforms.

Like all the Lego games, “Lego Batman” was a lot of fun (meaning, I could actually play it and do a decent job).  But with more of DC’s vast characters, this one should be even better.

Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern have already been announced for the game. They’ll be fighting Lex Luthor and the Joker.

We also get this cool promo art, though I wish it would have included Wonder Woman. But I guess they don’t want an icky girl to keep boys from being interested. (Please note sarcasm.)

Unsurprisingly, there’s also a new line of DC Super Hero Legos.

So who’s on your wishlist to also appear? For me, gotta have Aquaman, Flash, Zatanna and Hawkman. If they want to be really cool and go the “Brave and the Bold”/”JLU” route, it would be neat to see Amethyst, Blue Devil and Bwana Beast.
