“Rocko’s Modern Life” came on Nickelodeon in 1993 during a great age of animation on the channel. There was “Rugrats,” “Ren & Stimpy” and “Doug” (before it moved to Disney). Soon to come were the likes of “The Wild Thornberries” and the juggernaut “SpongeBob SquarePants.”
“Rocko’s Mondern Life” followed the often satiric, always silly misadventures of an Australlian wallaby and his friends living in O-Town.
The second season will be out on DVD Feb. 7 from Shout! Factory, and I’ve got a copy to give away. (Sorry, but I can’t send it so you get it before Feb. 7.)
