I’ve never done two movie artbooks in a row before, but with the buzz building for “The Dark Knight” rises next month, I figured it might be a good time to share “The Dark Knight Manual” from Insight Editions.
So even though Robin isn’t in the movie (or they’re keeping a good secret if he is), let’s pretend you the reader are Robin, and this is the book Batman would give you as your instruction manual for crimefighting. The “Manual” has documents, maps, blueprints, specs and what-not for Batman’s cave, gear and more. Lots of pictures and drawings, plus items to pull out and peruse.
There are also villain dossiers and minute tidbits that will never make it on screen.
