I remember running around my old townhouse complex with my Batcape and utility belt, pretending to be Batman.
I also remember talking my grandmother into getting me some Spider-Man web shooters. They were nothing special. They didn’t even really shoot. It was a tube of sticky stuff you could make “webs” with off common household items such as glasses and countertops, and they’d harden. I think there was a tiny Spider-Man figure you could stick to them. Oooh.
Today’s Spider-Man toys are way cooler, and I’ve got a couple to give away.
In today’s bundle we have Hasbo’s Hero FX mask and glove. The mask has eyes that light up, and you can push a button for 10 different phrases. The glove doesn’t shoot webs, but it does make “web-battling sounds” when you wave your hand around, plus other sounds when you push the button.
They’d be perfect to wear when you go see “The Amazing Spider-Man” in theaters — just be sure to turn them off first. Please. No, really, turn them off.
