Win 'Call of Duty: Black Ops II'

To make up for a lack of posts this week around my days off, let’s go with a blockbuster giveaway to end the week.

Activision sent me the “Hardened Edition” of “Call of Duty: Black Ops II.” (I’m sorry, I can’t even type that without giggling at the lowball “Hero’s Duty” joke in the fun “Wreck-It Ralph,” which I saw while I was off.)

After “Halo 4,” this is probably one of the most anticipated games of the season (if not year), so I’m glad to offer this amped up version to my older readers. (This is rated M, so no one under 17.)

What makes the “Hardened Edition” so special?

It has exclusive PS3 system themes, bonus in-game content (more zombies!), “challenge coins” and a copy of the soundtrack.

I’m guessing if you’re going to enter to win this game, you probably know what it’s about. But in case you don’t, here’s the official description:

“Call of Duty: Black Ops II” is a first-person shooter that revolves around unique gamepaly that propels the “Call of Duty” franchise into a world of future warfare, and back again to the modern era. The game is a sequel to the 2010 release “Call of Duty: Black Ops” and features returning “Black Ops” characters Sgt. Frank Woods and Agent Alex Mason, joined by a wealth of new characters. Additional features include: two distinct yet linked playable time periods, advanced weaponry, branching storylines created by player choices in Strike Force missions, exciting multiplayer options and more (zombies!).

For your chance to win, send your name and address to ehenrickson@detnews.com. Use “Call of Duty” as your subject line, and enter only once by Nov. 23.  U.S. entries only.
