Muskegon gets on the board, Brother Rice leads 14-7 in second quarter of Division 2 Final

Muskegon quarterback Jalen Smith wasted little time getting it going after his team went down 14-0, running for a 22-yard gain on his teams first play back on offense. Smith then came back and picked up a big first down on a fourth-and-six play in Brother Rice territory. Javontae Langston finished off the scoring drive with a three-yard touchdown run to pull Muskegon back into the game.

Muskegon has a high-powered offense and should be able to hang with Brother Rice most of the afternoon. They’ll need their defense to step up and slow down the Warriors offense, though.
