A lot has been said and written about this weekend’s murder-suicide in Kansas City, where Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend and the mother of their 3-month-old daughter and then took his own life. That tragedy sparked discussion about gun control and domestic violence and mental health. among other things.
But it’s worth a minute to listen to what Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn had to say after Sunday’s game as he and his teammates tried to sort through their feelings of shock and grief and — undoubtedly for some — guilt.
