No verdict following Day 10 deliberations in Kilpatrick case

Jurors told U.S. District Judge Nancy Edmunds peace out at 4:30 p.m. after spending a 10th day deliberating the fate of former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, his father Bernard Kilpatrick and contractor Bobby Ferguson.

The men face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of corruption charges.

So far, the jury has spent about 56 hours deliberating following a five-month trial.

Jurors return at 9 a.m. Tuesday to federal court in downtown Detroit.
